MRAC launches new websiteThe Manitoba Rural Adaptation Council's website has received a much needed facelift. MRAC recently launched its new website, which can be found at the same web address, www.mrac.ca. Learn more about MRAC’s strategic priorities, discover who's on the MRAC board of directors, search the MRAC news archives, find out about upcoming agricultural events, become a member of MRAC, sign up to receive the MRAC ezine and much more on the redesigned website. "A website should provide easy navigation of information that tells your story and provides the answer to visitors as to who you are, what you have to offer, how it is offered and encourage them to come back for frequent visits - all in three clicks or less. Our objective is to become one of your bookmarks," said Ted Eastley, MRAC executive director. The new website is your source for information on the Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (CAAP) and the Value Chain Manitoba Initiative (VCMI), as well as MRAC's funding guidelines and application process. The site also breaks down all MRAC-funded projects into three categories – Recently Approved, In Progress and Completed – for fast and easy project searches. As well, MRAC is pleased to feature an Impacts section that will include stories and photos on projects that had a significant impact on the agricultural landscape in Manitoba.
