Keynote Speaker: John Oliver

John Oliver is president of Maple Leaf Bio-Concepts and Lojon Associates International in Oshawa, Ont., a company he began in 1997 combining his interest in biotechnology and government affairs. Prior to this Oliver was the president of DowElanco Canada Inc. Oliver's presentation will touch on Peak Oil, Peak Food and Peak Water and how efficient management will help negotiate these three P's. To read John Oliver’s full bio click here.

Project Overviews:

The 2010 AGM will also include overviews of two successful MRAC-funded projects.

• Dr. Greg Penner with NeoVentures Biotechnology will discuss his project titled Optimization of a Bar Code Detection System for CWRS Wheat Varieties.
• Willy Hoffmann with Prairie Orchard Farms will discuss his project titled Omega 3 Beef: Testing and Validation Trial.
