Using a Forecasting Model to Control Potato Late Blight
Project Description
The project will determine the effectiveness of using the Mileos forecasting model to control potato late blight (Phytophthora infestans) as opposed to systematic preventative treatments. Three other forecasting models from data collected in the first part of the project will be tested.
Project Objectives
To improve pest management against potato late blight and reduce the number of fungicide applications.
