General Information

Project Objective: To provide increased training to farm advisors and provide skills to help them identify various opportunities and issues within their farm clients' operation.

Project Description: To fund portion of speaker costs at the Optimizing Farm Enterprise conference to be held in Onanole, MB on June 18, 2007.  This event is designed as a training day to equip farm advisors with knowledge and understanding that as agriculture changes, expectation on their advisory services will have to be able to respond proactively to these changes.  Speakers at this event will present on a variety of topics including human resource management, conservation and the environment, succession planning, investment priorities in new and emerging opportunities in the ag sector and future opportunities and threats facing the ag industry.
