Project Description

Consultants will be engaged to provide a complete market environmental scan of the MB forage industry including the potential for greater exports to world markets. The environmental scan will include assessing Manitoba's ability to produce and export its forage commodities including present transportation costs and whether they are a hindrance to accessing a greater global market share.

Project Objectives

To provide the information needed and describe the necessary steps to develop a Made in Manitoba alfalfa export industry.
